Tullis Russell supports the "Calendar Boys"

Scottish papermakers Tullis Russell has donated stocks of its Trucard coated board range to the “Calendar Boys”, a charity calendar featuring 50 brave men of Scottish Border’s village West Linton posing as nature intended! The calendar, which was launched on October 3rd, was produced to raise money for Scottish breast cancer charities including Maggie's Centres, Breast Cancer Institute and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Headed by Chef Jens Steffen, the West Linton “Calendar Boys” are men from all walks of lives, including firemen, farmers, golfers and an ex-councillor.

The project, which takes its inspiration from the recent Hollywood blockbuster “The Calendar Girls”, has been a massive hit with the first print run selling out within days.

Derek Guthrie, marketing services manager of Tullis Russell, commented: “We were only too happy to help out when we heard about the project. You have to applaud the bravery of the men who took part and sales of the calendar have been a great testament to those involved.”
